About Danny Guthrie

Overachievers Club is led by Danny Guthrie, former Premier League midfielder with over 200 Premier League appearances.
Danny played for Liverpool FC and Newcastle United, winning the Championship title with Newcastle United and finishing as a UEFA Champions League runner-up in 2007.
He represented England at youth international level up to Under‑20, and is an AFC “A” coaching licence holder.

High standards means focusing on the details of every drill. Every touch and every pass has importance and meaning behind it. The details are key in football.
Mastering the basics
The most important area of football development is mastering the basics: first touch, side‑foot passing, weight of pass and change of direction.
Once the basics are at a strong level, we then develop more advanced areas of the game. You cannot skip the basics.
